On today’s show we will hear another passionate speech our MLA Corky Evans delivered in the Legislature on Monday, February 23rd speaking to the issue that Vaughn Palmer summed up nicely in his column in the Vancouver Sun saying … “nothing could dispel the impression that the Opposition had indeed located a pre-election slush fund” of $186 million dollars.

BTP’s Glyn Humphries has discovered a podcast from Stuff You Missed in

But we start this morning profiling the BC-STV issue.

We will hear a conversation BTP’s Sjeng Derkx had with Andre Carrel about the presentation he will deliver in Prince Rupert on March 26th about why he’s voting for STV in upcoming May election.

But first we thought it would be interesting to remind us how we got here – how the Citizen’s Assembly came to be and why they recommended this system for British Columbians to vote on. The audio you are about to hear is a collage of viewpoints of assembly members as the province prepared to vote on this question in the May of 2005. It's called Making Every Vote Count.
